Anna Daly has vowed to never go under the knife, as she prefers to “do things naturally”.
The TV3 star has been offered various treatments in the past, but her fear of needles means she’s never been tempted – despite people thinking she’s had her lips done.
“People say ‘Did you not get your lips done?’. Because it’s become so normal, I think people are assuming that everyone gets work done.
“I won’t be doing any procedures, I’m anti them, I can’t even get a blood test without fainting,” Anna told the Irish Mirror.

“I think there’s an assumption in TV that people are getting them, I know by the way people are asking me, they’re like ‘you must have had something done?’
“I get offered it more than ever but it’s still a no. I’ve been offered fat zapping and all but I prefer to do things naturally you feel better about it.
“They also think because you’ve had a baby you’re desperate to shed the pounds. Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to sound all high and mighty if I could click my fingers and get rid of my fine lines of course I would but I wouldn’t go through any procedure.
“My mother holds my hand if go to get a blood test!”

Anna also opened up about the controversial gender pay gap, which has been widely discussed since RTÉ’s highest earners list featured just three women.
“I think it’s brought up a very important conversation but I think it’s been going on a long time. We just needed something like this to get people talking openly about it and maybe women knocking on doors, looking for new terms in their contract.”
Speaking about her own experience within TV3, Anna said, “If I have experienced less pay I didn’t know about it so it could have happened, I’ve always negotiated my own contracts in TV3 so some people have agents where they can bring them in.
“I’m staff so to be honest with you I’ve been happy, you can only go on your own experiences,” she added.
