Tributes pour in for influencer and model Patrick McLoughney – who has sadly passed away

Tributes have poured in online for influencer and model Patrick McLoughney, who has sadly passed away.

The blogger, who had almost 22k followers on Instagram, was originally from Nenagh but was well-known in Limerick.

Described as an “absolute gentleman”, Patrick’s death has left many heartbroken.

Former Mr. Ireland Karl Bowe, who was good friends with Patrick, led tributes to him online on Wednesday night.

Sharing photos of them together on Instagram, he wrote: “It’s no coincidence that no one had a bad word to say about Patrick, but right now I simply have no words.”

“Shocked and devastated to hear the news of another good friend gone way too soon @iammcloughney.”

“An absolute gentleman in every way who will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. Rest easy mate.”

Another well-known face who has paid tribute to Patrick on social media is Louise Cooney.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the popular blogger described Patrick as a “true gent”, and said Limerick has “lost a great one”.

Fellow Limerick influencer Sinead O’Brien, who was close friends with Patrick, also reacted to his death on Instagram, and revealed she would be taking a few days offline to grieve.

Celebrity stylist Emily O’Donnell, who regularly worked with the male model, posted a touching tribute to him online too.

Sharing photos of them together, the fashionista said Patrick would be sorely missed in the industry.

According to a death notice on RIP.ie, Patrick will be laid to rest this Saturday in his hometown of Nenagh.
