Tony McGregor hands out free DART tickets to commuters at Connolly Station

Tony McGregor handed out free DART tickets to commuters at Connolly Station this morning.

The famous father spent his morning at the train station as he gifted strangers with free rail tickets along with cans of Lucozade Zero, as he is the beverage’s brand ambassador.

Tony sported a flashy red suit, which definitely caught the attention of morning commuters on their way to work.

The 59-year-old helped commuters with their coinage issues as he swapped people’s change for notes, to ensure that they would have a coinless day.

The father-of-three also posed for pictures as some hardcore Tony McGregor fans showed up wearing ‘Plussed’ t-shirts, along with a cartoon image of Tony on the front of them.

The morning was inspired by Tony’s hilarious video where he complained about being given €17.30 in change after using a crisp €20 note in a DART ticket machine during the summer.

Meanwhile, Tony’s son, Conor McGregor, appeared at a press conference last night for his upcoming fight with Russian MMA star, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
