Tonight’s line-up for The Ray D’Arcy Show is here

World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty will join Ray on the couch to share the highs and lows of his career since then, as well as his memories of his mother, Rose, who passed away on Mother’s Day this year after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

The one and only Kat Slater, aka former Eastenders actress Jessie Wallace, will also drop by alongside two of her co-stars in the hit new RTÉ/BBC drama Redwater, the brilliant and multi-talented Maria Doyle Kennedy and Angeline Ball.

Following a hugely dramatic week in Irish and international politics, broadcaster Eamon Dunphy will provide his unique take on where we go from here. He will also talk about his relationship with Bono, The Edge and the rest of U2 after it emerged that one of the band’s new songs was inspired by him.

Ray will also welcome forensic cyberpsychologist Dr Mary Aiken. She will outline why it is so important for parents to educate themselves on the threats and opportunities which the internet provides.

This comes amid the release of a major WHO study this week which found that a dramatic rise in the use of computers and social media is negatively affecting the health of young people.

All this and more on the Ray D’Arcy Show this Saturday night at 9:35pm on RTÉ One.
