This year’s Late Late Toy Show was a rollercoaster of emotions.
It’s the most highly anticipated show in Irish television each year for obvious reasons, and this year was no different.
There were tears, laughs, and some children throwing lettuce at presenter Ryan Tubridy.
We’re taking a look back at the best moments from tonight’s show.
Shane Lowry surprised a young-fan, who was completely starstruck by meeting her hero.
The 6-year-old is an avid golfer who said she loves the sportsman because he is a good putter.

8-year-old Tom was surprised by his personal hero on the show tonight… his Nanny Pat.
The boy from Leitrim loves knitting, and having a cabbage and bacon dinner with his Nan.

Young Sophie told us all about her 5-year-old brother Cian who is in hospital with leukaemia.
Ryan gifted the young girl with a trip to London to see her favourite musical School of Rock, as well as a trip to visit the Harry Potter studios.

Sophia told us about her worry ball. She carries it as she worries about bullies.
She told Ryan how she is kicked and name called for her appearance, to which he reminded her “difference is a badge of honour.”

Ryan reunited a family for Christmas by flying 24-year-old Alex home from Australia.
Her younger brother Lee was demonstrating a bike on the show when he was surprised by his sister, who he hasn’t seen in three years.

Avid boxer Ella was surprised by her hero Katie Taylor.
The Bray champion boxer met the young girl who aspires to be just like her.
Presenting her with the gloves from her last match, Katie invited the Meath girl for a personal training session.
