There is a major change to next years Electric Picnic schedule – and we are loving it.
The Electric Picnic festival, which usually begins on the Friday morning is going to opt for an earlier start next year with entertainment beginning on the Thursday night instead.
According to the EP website it is the first time in the festivals history to open on the Thursday night.
“For the first time in the festival’s history, a stage will be open to the 5,000 early entry campers who arrive on Thursday night before the festival opens its gates on Friday. This very special comedy stage will give a platform to some of the country’s best female acts”.
“The line up includes, Joanne McNally who will be your watchful eye and MC for the evening, Aoife Dooley, Lisa Casey, Sharon Mannion, Aine Gallagher, Harriet Braine, Ashlee Bentley, Sahar Ali, Blaithin DeBurca, Aoife O’Connor, Christina McMahon, Orla O’Doherty Brown, Fiona Frawley and Grace Mulvey”.
