Becoming a social media influencer has become one of the most covetable career paths in recent years – with the majority of primary school aged children saying they would like to be a famous YouTuber rather than the more traditional job titles such as nurse, firefighter or lawyer.
Internationally, a number of college courses on how to become a social media influencer have sprung up, attracting the attention of the global press.
Now, there’s one for Irish social media zealots.
The course is online, found in the Limerick pages of Living Social.
The Fashion & Lifestyle Blogging Course from International Open Academy is CPD Certified, and includes 11 modules with the basics on how to grow your online brand.

Students learn skills including public relations etiquette, blogging 101 and establishing a niche – all for €12.
