The White Moose Café’s Paul Stenson and Jason Kidd announce they have split

They came to fame thanks to their ongoing controversies on The White Moose Café’s social media channels – but now Paul Stenson and Jason Kidd are no more.

The couple got engaged last year, during a romantic trip to Disneyland Paris, where Paul popped the question.

Sharing the news on social media, Paul revealed the pair decided to “call it a day”.

“Jason and I met in January 2015. Our love for each other was pretty instantaneous, and we moved in together a mere three days after we first met. 5 months later, on 31st July 2015, we both started a little cafe together,” he wrote.

“For 5 and a half years, Jason and I have shared the most incredible times together. We have travelled the world, eaten in more restaurants than I care to remember, danced and sung like big eejits.

“We even created our own language that we communicate together in (I’m not even going to try to explain that one). We have shared both good times and not so good.

“We have laughed uncontrollably and endlessly and, on occasion, cried in each other’s arms. He has introduced me to the world of Disney (from both a theme park and a canine perspective), and I’ve enjoyed every single solitary minute of it.

“As we now reach 5 and a half years together, we have both realised that our paths in life are starting to go in different directions. Jason has decided to move over to London to follow his dream, and I’m still here not knowing what the hell I’m up to, whether I’m coming or going, toing or froing.

“I’m 40 now and still as clueless with regard to where I’m going in life as I was the day I failed my Leaving,” he added.

“As such, Jason and I have taken the mutual decision to ‘call it a day’ romantically speaking. We had a conversation about the whole thing today and shed tears that would fill all 3 dog bowls for weeks.

“Jason will forever be my best friend and my soulmate no matter what happens. My love for him is deathless, and I will always have a word to say to anyone who wrongs him. There is not one moment of our time together that I regret, and if I could turn back time to the day we first met and do it all again, I’d do it in a heart beat.

“Jason has made me a better man. He has taught me to always remain positive and to always see the good in people.”

“I have been welcomed into his family with open, loving arms and I will never ever forget that, nor the memories we have all made together.

“So, Jason, I will always love you and I will always be there for you. You have always been and will always be my best friend. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for the infectious smile. Thank you for the positivity. Thank you for making me the man I am today.

“Love you Baba x,” he ended the post.

Jason commented under the announcement, saying he still loved Paul very much.

“I love you so much and thank you for these beautiful words,” he wrote.

“I’m a complete mess again but I can’t wait to create more memories with you in the future. You are incredible in every way ❤️.”
