The Wanted Siva's wedding looking likely to be Irish – but he's finding it tough to ditch America

The Wanted star Siva Kaneswaran has admitted he’s planning a “big ass party” when he marries next year.

But the Dublin singer admits him and fiancee Nareesha McCaffrey have one big problem – they don’t know where to hold the nuptials.

Currently the 25-year-old revealed they are considering between America and Ireland, with home where it would “make sense” to have the wedding.

“The wedding is next year so we’re just discussing venues, where will we do it. Obviously America has come up,” he told U magazine.

“But I think it just depends on what’s practical and what’s the best venue for us. It could be an amazing venue in Ireland or an amazing venue in the UK.

“Most of the family are in the UK and Ireland so obviously it’d make sense to have it there. But saying that, there could be an amazing venue in America and we’re based there.

“So we’re kind of in limbo at the moment. We’re incorporating our cultures into the wedding and then waiting until next year when I can be fully hands on and take a few months just planning it and being Nareesha’s right hand man.”

Their wedding comes after The Wanted agreed to split earlier this year, and Siva’s happy that means their relationship isn’t long-distance any more as “obviously we missed each other for so long”.

They had been dating for six years before Siva popped the question in December, last year.

Meanwhile Siva admitted that he’s finally “100% excited” about splitting from his Wanted bandmates, after being the most outspoken against the break.

However Siva revealed he wouldn’t be against getting back with them in the future – after plans to try and become a solo artist in America.

“The break is there and I’m open to the whole idea in the future maybe working together for something,” he added.

“Right now we’ve all agreed to just go and see where the wind takes us. I was kind of hesitant at first but now I’m 100% excited.”
