The Rolling Stones share first glimpse of Paul Mescal in their upcoming music video

The Irish actor stars in the music video for their new song Scarlet

The Rolling Stones have shared the first glimpse of Paul Mescal in their upcoming music video.

The Normal People star plays a “hunky party boy” in the music video for their new song Scarlet, which will be released later this week.

The band wrote the track back in 1974, with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.

On their official Instagram page, they shared a short clip of Paul saying, “I think we’ll be fine”, before he takes a sip of whiskey.

They captioned the post: “Scarlet… why you tearing my heart?

“The official video for Scarlet featuring Paul Mescal will premiere this Thursday 7pm BST / 11am PST – including a very special introduction from @mickjagger & @paul.mescal you won’t want to miss… set a reminder via the Rolling Stones YouTube Channel now!”

They also promoted the music video by sharing headshots of Paul, which were taken on set.
