The Blizzards re-release hit song to raise funds for new Irish charity

The Blizzards have re-released their hit song ‘Trust Me I’m A Doctor’ to raise funds for a new Irish charity.

Heroes Aid began by sourcing and delivering much needed PPE to healthcare staff who were working throughout the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The non-profit organisation have since expanded their services to provide educational and psychological support to all healthcare staff.

Taking to Instagram on Monday morning, The Blizzards wrote: “With the help of Irish radio and our nation – let’s give back to for frontline workers who risked their lives to save ours ❤️”

“We recorded #trustmeimadoctor with the stunning @rteconcertorchestra so we could raise money for @heroes_aid_ireland a charity that is supporting frontline workers in the midst and aftermath of the pandemic.”

“By raising money through this brilliant charity the hope is to be able to provide therapy resources for any worker who needs it ❤️ Donate €4 by texting HERO to 50300”
