Tesco forced to limit bottles of Conor McGregor’s whiskey to customers – as it FLIES off the shelves

Tesco Ireland have been forced to limit bottles of Conor McGregor’s new whiskey Proper No. Twelve.

The UFC champion released his highly anticipated brand this week, with Tesco being the first supermarket to stock the alcohol.

Within the first few hours of sale Tescos put up signs saying customers were limited to only two bottles per purchase “due to high demand”.

The news didn’t go down too well with Conor himself, who shared photos on his Instagram story asking Tesco to allow customers to buy as many bottles as they want.

“Let them buy three,” Conor wrote on his story.

In another post he wrote to Tesco directly saying: “don’t be greedy”.

Right now you can get your hands on the whiskey for €35 both in Tesco and at Dublin airport.

The surge in interest comes just hours after Conor’s UFC 229 press conference in New York, where he arrived on stage with a bottle of Proper No. Twelve and drank from it live on stage.

He seriously knows good marketing…
