Terrie McEvoy rescues ‘frightened’ dog from M50 motorway

Terrie McEvoy has rescued a “frightened” dog from the M50 motorway.

The Irish blogger took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday night to ask her 229k followers for help in locating the pooch’s owners, after he ran out in front of her car.

Filming the dog in the car with her, the Dublin native said: “It wouldn’t be a normal day if there wasn’t some sort of drama. Say hello to my little friend that I found running down the M50.

“I nearly knocked him down and I had to chase him to catch him.”

In another update, Terrie wrote: “He is so frightened and tiny. I was honestly so close to hitting him with my car.

“He was running around the M50. Myself and another car were trying to catch him. We’ve called him Dodger for now (dodging traffic).

“Please share if you can. Hoping we can reunite him with his owners.”

The nurse, who adopted her own rescue dog Jake earlier this year, revealed the dog was so frightened that he wouldn’t eat or drink.

“He’s going straight to the vet tomorrow to see if he’s chipped,” she added.

Terrie and her husband David Fitzpatrick adopted their dog Jake from Dogs Angels Ireland back in April, after fostering him for a few weeks.
