He has been the talk of Ireland for the last week after his controversial interview with Gay Byrne and now Stephen Fry will present an award at the annual Oscar Wilde Party in LA.
The TV legend will present the Oscar Wilde Award to Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher at director J.J. Abram’s Bad Robot’s office in Santa Monica.
Stephen recently caused a stir across the nation when he discussed his atheist beliefs with Gay with the interview nabbing five million hits on YouTube in only a week.

Abrams will also present to honourees Stephen Colbert and Garrett Kelleher will present Colin Davidson with his award at the star-studded event.
The Oscar Wile Party honours the achievements of Irish people and Irish-Americans in film with well known faces like Robbie and Claudine Keane, Sarah Greene and Conan O’Brien being previous guests at the bash.
This years upcoming party will also feature Irish singer-songwriters Gavin James and Megan O’Neill will perform at the event.

“I have no idea who is gonna be there, I heard everyone that’s Irish goes to it like Colin Farrell and JJ Abrams. Last year Tom Cruise went I think, if he came I’d be like ‘oh my god’, I’d freak out a lot,” he said.
