Irish blogger Lisa McGowan, also known as Lisa’s Lust List, has launched a High Court action to help her identify online trolls.
According to the Irish Independent, the Tullamore native has claimed she is being “trolled, defamed and stalked” on social media by anonymous accounts.
Lisa has said comments that have been made about her online are untrue, and “extremely damaging” to her and her business.
The social media star has also claimed anonymous posters have shared “sinister posts about her movements”, and seem to know when she is present at her family’s business.

Lisa and her company Lisa’s Lust List Limited are seeking to identify the people behind the posts, in order to take legal action against them.
In order to identify the individuals, Lisa is seeking a court order (known as a ‘Norwich Pharmacal’) which requires Facebook Ireland Ltd to provide her with details about the accounts in question.
The Irish Independent has reported that her application came before High Court judge Mr Justice Anthony Barr this week, who granted permission to serve short notice of the proceedings on Facebook Ireland.
Many Irish social media stars have hit out at “toxic” social media pages in the past, which target influencers and online personalities.
Lisa has amassed over 111k followers on Instagram, with over 203k likes on her official Facebook page.
As well as winning two awards at The Gossies to date, including Best Newcomer and Influencer of the Year, the popular social media star works with with brands like Meagher’s Pharmacy and Bellamianta Tan.
Lisa has also been applauded for her bravery in sharing her hysterectomy journey through her blog and social media channels.
