Sir Roger Moore has admitted that he wants Aidan Turner as the next James Bond.

The actor has starred in the iconic role seven times from 1973 to 1985.

There was chat that the Dubliner was set to become the next 007 – and the 89-year-old thinks he would “make a very good Bond.”

Daniel Craig is set to step down from the role as he has not signed on for the next two films – and many are debating who will take his place.

“I think Aidan would make a very good Bond,” he told the Irish Daily Star.

However, Aidan crushed our hopes when he brushed off talk about him playing James Bond as “rumours.”
