Sinead O’Connor’s $5million lawsuit dropped

The $5million lawsuit against Sinead O’Connor has been dropped.

Actor Arsenio Hall sued the singer after she accused him of supplying Prince with drugs following the music legend’s death in April 2016.

In a Facebook post that has since been deleted, she insinuated that Arsenio had something to do with the late songwriters death.

Now, Sinead has apologised in court for her post and said that her accusations against him are false.

“I apologise for my posts about Arsenio to the extent that anyone thought I was accusing him of acting as Prince’s drug dealer, or insinuating Arsenio had something to do with Prince’s death,” she said, according to the Irish Sun.

“I sincerely apologise because those statements would be false.”

In response to her false claim, Arsenio said that she was a “desperate attention-seeker now known as much for her bizarre, unhinged internet rants as for her music.”
