Sinead O’Connor has said that she does not want to spend any time with “disgusting” white people.
The singer recently converted to Islam, and changed her name to Shuhada Davitt.
Sinead took to Twitter to acknowledge that what she was about to say was “so racist” and that she never thought her “soul could ever feel it.”
She continued: “But truly I never wanna spend time with white people again (if that’s what non-muslims are called). Not for one moment, for any reason. They are disgusting.”

Following the controversial tweet, many users suggested that Twitter should remove her comment, but Sinead fought back.
“Interesting to see if Twitter bans this when it allows people like Trump and Milbank spew the satanic filth upon even my country. Forgive me. Sometimes the Lord needs dirty workers,” she said.
