Sinead Kennedy has gushed about her husband Conor Kirwan, after the pair FINALLY moved in together – two years after tying the knot.

The Winning Streak presenter revealed that her naval officer hubby was previously based in Cork, which caused them to maintain a long-distance relationship despite being husband and wife.

However, the RTÉ star has admitted that the pair have finally moved in together, and now they’re “stronger than ever”.

“He moved in with me after years of being apart. Our relationship was something that we did at the weekend and we didn’t get to spend too much time together. But now we see each other all the time.

“We feel even closer and we are more of a team. I know this sounds like a cliche, but we are stronger than ever,” she told RSVP magazine.

Looking back on her wedding day, which took place at Dromquinna Manor in Sneem, Co Kerry in October 2014, Sinead admitted that she was far more excited than nervous – as she had been with Conor for eight years before getting hitched.

“I was more giddy and excited about seeing Conor. I am always late for everything, as is my dad – so we were warned to be on time.

“My dad drove us to the church and it was just the two of us and there were no strangers in the car.

“When we arrived to the church, I had to take pictures with the bridesmaids, who were driving behind us, and I asked everyone to hurry up because I just wanted to get married. It was more excitement than nerves,” she added.
