Irish rugby player Simon Zebo has married his long-term partner Elvira Fernandez in a lavish second wedding.
The pair met when they were 15 and 16 and quickly fell in love.
Sharing snaps from the day on Instagram, Elvira stunned in a strapless white laced dress.
The couple held their second ceremony in Altea, a charming city in Spain.
The childhood sweethearts had previously gotten married in 2022 in an intimate ceremony in front of just 22 of their friends and family.
They held the ceremony at the five-star Sheen Falls Lodge.
Speaking to RSVP Live in 2022, the pair explained how COVID-19 affected their wedding day and their want for a second “bigger wedding.”
Simon said, “After I proposed in December 2019, we said we would give ourselves a year and a half to prepare.”
“But we were actually waiting on restrictions to stop, some would stop in France and some start in Ireland and vice versa.”
“We just didn’t know when we could start telling people a date and venue.”
He added, “So we just decided on a small ceremony first to make it official and we will go to Spain next year to do the big day.”
