Shane Lowry and his wife Wendy Honner have welcomed their first child, it has been revealed.
According to Independent.ie, the Irish golfer and the nurse welcomed their baby, named Iris, in late March.
Shane only revealed that Wendy was expecting last November during an interview.
“I don’t know if many people even know this yet, but I might as well tell you – Wendy is expecting a baby so we’re having our first kid at the end of February,” he said at the time.

“That’ll be nice. I’m going to play a few weeks in a row and then take some time off when we’re having the baby, then I’ll be back for Augusta.”
Shane and Wendy tied the knot in New York City in April 2015, in front of a small group of family and friends.
