Saoirse Ronan is reportedly dating a Scottish ballet dancer

Saoirse Ronan is reportedly dating Scottish ballet dancer Calum Lowden.

According to The Sun, the Irish actress met Calum, who hails from Oxton but lives in Stockholm for work, through mutual friends – and the pair were spotted together after the BAFTAs on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old, who is a 1st soloist for the Royal Swedish Ballet, attended the ceremony alongside his brother Jack, who starred in the BAFTA-nominated, Dunkirk.

An insider said, “Saoirse didn’t win on the night but couldn’t have looked happier.”

“She headed from the awards to the official dinner at Grosvenor House on Park Lane and hooked up with Calum again.”

“They looked like things are going great between them.

“It’s early days and they have been keeping things low-key, but there was no mistaking the spark between them,” the source added.

The news comes just one month after Saoirse told Ellen DeGeneres that she doesn’t know how to date.

“I don’t know how to date,” she said. “I don’t date. I’m not into the whole, ‘Let’s go out for dinner’. I don’t even know how to talk about it.”
