The Golden Globe nominations list has been revealed and our very own Saoirse Ronan and Daniel Day Lewis have scored nominations for their acting performances.
Saoirse, who has been twice nominated for a Golden Globe, once for Brooklyn in 2016 and once for Atonement in 2008 added a third nomination to her belt for Lady Bird.
Lady Bird has already been shortlisted for the upcoming Critics’ Choice and Independent Spirit Awards and received its Golden Globe nomination for best screenplay motion picture today.
Daniel Day Lewis received his 8th Golden Globe nomination for his performance in Phantom Thread.
The Breadwinner, a Canadian-Irish-Luxembourgian adult animated drama film by Kilkenny based animation studio, Cartoon Saloon, also received a Golden Globe nomination for best animated feature film.
The Golden Globes will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Sunday January 7th, 2018.
