Ryan Tubridy has shared the heartwarming moment he finally got to hug Toy Show star Adam King over the weekend.
The Cork native, who has brittle bone disease, has become somewhat of a celebrity since he appeared on the Toy Show in 2020 and melted the hearts of the nation.
During his appearance on the show, Adam held up a sign which said “a hug for you” – which was his way of giving a virtual hug amid the coronavirus pandemic.
After two years of virtual hugs, Ryan and Adam finally got to share a proper hug at the Ireland vs Scotland game at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
Sharing a snap of the pair embracing on his Instagram, the presenter wrote: “As Adam’s Dad said, this hug was over two years, five Late Late Show appearances and a great friendship in the making.”
Ryan added: “A golden moment.”
