Ryan Tubridy reveals that he’s struggling to learn Late Late Toy Show opening song – ‘I’m trying my hardest’

Ryan Tubridy may have sparked worry amongst fans, as he revealed that he is struggling to learn the opening number for The Late Late Toy Show.

The presenter is set to host his ninth Toy Show on 30th November, but with just over two weeks to go until the big night, the 45-year-old is struggling to learn the show’s first song.

This morning, Ryan told his RTÉ Radio One listeners that he is trying “to learn how to sing half a song” but is trying “to get it together.”

“I think you either can or you can’t or you do or you don’t, but I’m going to try,” he told listeners.

“This morning I was driving into work and any time I hit the traffic lights I took out the piece of paper with the words on it and gave it another lash.”

“So if you see me driving along, or indeed walking along, and I’m either humming, singing, whistling, it probably is I’ll give away the opening number of the Toy Show this year, because I’m trying my hardest to try and get it together!” the father-of-two said.

Fans are eager to find out the theme of this year’s Toy Show, as each year the highly-anticipated Christmas special gets better and better.

Previous themes of the show include The Little Mermaid, The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast.
