Ryan Tubridy has revealed concern about his future with The Late Late Show.

The RTE host has been fronting the show since 2009 after taking over from Pat Kenny.

“Just enjoy it while you have it. You never know when it will be gone,” he said.

Alan Carr’s show Chatty Man was axed recently and Ryan admitted that is a lesson for all chat show hosts to learn.

“Alan Carr losing his chat show is a salutary lesson to all chat show hosts everywhere,” he told the Irish Sun.

“You just never know when the knock will come on the door.”

The Dubliner also admitted that he’s not worried about his RTE rival Ray D’Arcy’s Saturday night show.

“Ray’s Saturday show seems to be doing well and becoming more entertainment heavy which I think is a wise move.

“I have always felt there is room for two chat shows, and I did the Saturday night show myself, and I loved [the show].”

On his show, Ryan had an awkward moment on his show with a major Hollywood hunk.
