Ryan Tubridy pays touching tribute to Room to Improve star Michael Stokes

Ryan Tubridy has paid tribute to Room to Improve star Michael Stokes.

The fifteen-year-old sadly passed away over the weekend after a “tragic accident”. 

Michael featured on the popular series in 2016 when architect Dermot Bannon attempted to transform his foster parents home.

I post this with a heavy heart as the magic whirlwind, Michael Stokes, died on Saturday aged 15. He was an unforgettable soul and we are all so sad today. Thinking of Ann, Barry and all Michael’s family and friends. The world is that bit diminished without him.

Ryan shared an image of himself and Michael when the teenager appeared on The Late Late show.

The TV host wrote, “I post this with a heavy heart as the magic whirlwind, Michael Stokes, died on Saturday aged 15.”

“He was an unforgettable soul and we are all so sad today. Thinking of Ann, Barry and all Michael’s family and friends. The world is that bit diminished without him.”

Teacher Ann Higgins and her husband Barry were Michael’s foster parents.
