Rugby star CJ Stander and wife Jean-Marie welcome first child

Amazing news!

CJ Stander and his wife Jean-Marie have welcomed their first child.

The South African, who plays for the Ireland and Munster rugby teams, has become a father for the first time after Jean-Marie gave birth to a baby girl on Friday.

Posting a black and white photo of their newborn’s feet, CJ wrote: “We can only dream where these tiny feet will go in her lifetime. Our only hope is that they never forget the way home.”

The sports star revealed they called their baby Everli, and added: “@jmneethling is a legend and doing great. Looking forward to taking my girls home soon.”

CJ also poked fun at his new protective dad status, as he added the hashtag “#shotgunsloaded.”

CJ and Jean-Marie, who is also from South Africa, have been together since 2001, and tied the knot in 2013.
