RTÉ has released a teaser trailer for episode two of it’s brand new crime drama, Kin.
The series premiered with a bang last Sunday, as the first episode ended with teenager Jamie Kinsella being shot dead.
Jamie was caught in the crossfire, as rival gang the Cunningham’s retaliated after Eric Kinsella targeted them in a drive-by shooting.
In a teaser clip of this week’s episode, Jamie’s mother Amanda, played by Clare Dunne, broke down in tears as she discovered details of the shooting.
Amanda’s brother-in-law Michael, who was present for the shooting, told her: “Jamie was laughing because he had seen Viking [Eric] had a flat tyre.”
“He took a photo of it and sent it to Viking to wind him up. And then Viking came out and we realised the puncture had been done deliberate and then that’s when the shooting happened.”

Amanda then asked: “Did Jamie say anything after he was shot?” but Michael shook his head and replied: “He was gone.”
The clip ended with her saying: “So, eh, the last thing he was doing was just like laughing and messing around? At least he wasn’t scared you know like he didn’t suffer or anything.”
The second episode of Kin airs this Sunday at 9.30pm on RTÉ One or the RTÉ Player.
