Roz Purcell has admitted she feels “disheartened” over her hair loss.

Back in March, the 30-year-old shared a candid photo of a bald patch on the back of her head.

Months later, Roz has revealed the patch has grown bigger, and she’s experienced more hair loss in recent weeks.

Sharing a before-and-after photo of her bald spot on Instagram, Roz wrote: “So the hair isn’t going to plan…”

“There is definitely re growth very white thin hairs but it’s gotten just a tad bigger since March only .75cm (thanks to everyone who suggested measuring it at the start!).”

“Over the last 4 weeks my hair has been falling out again in clunks & it’s been kind of hard to know what to do,” she continued.

“I haven’t made any appointments yet as I haven’t been going anywhere as I see my family but I think I will once I return to Dublin as it’s not getting better.”

“I’ve been taking supplements and really good care of my hair (except that coconut oil mask now and again 🤣) so it’s just a bit disheartening. I know it’s such a small thing but I guess I never really appreciated how hair makes me feel.”

“In the grand scheme of things lots of others go through much worse especially now and then I feel bad for feeling bad about it. 🤣😭 ,” Roz wrote.

“Few people have suggested particular hair treatments for the patch but I’m more concerned with why the rest is falling out now? Anyway I’m not using you guys as google doctor 🤣but would appreciate treatment advice and places 💕.”

Roz’s followers were quick to share some advice in the comment section.

One follower wrote: “I would suggest possibly seeing an endocrinologist and getting some hormone levels done and a few more investigations to get to the cause hope this helps x.”

Another commented: “Have you tried Nioxin shampoo & conditioner Roz? My hair was falling out due to stress since march and got these on advice of my hairdresser, the loss has slowed down and the hair is growing back now.”
