“I never got into trouble because I had a lot of common sense, probably more than a city kid.”
“When you travel alone you have to think for yourself and become a lot more aware, I was well able to cope,” she told the Sunday World.
Meanwhile, the blogger also admitted that she had to sleep in airports many times over the years when she missed her flights.

“Agencies don’t care. You are very much on your own,” she said.
“If there are problems you have to sort it out yourself. But those were the times when I found myself at my best.”
“Travelling alone definitely made me way more independent. Every job has it’s ups and downs, but the downs are what got me here.”
