Rosanna Davison has shared her daughter’s sweet nickname for her grandad Chris De Burgh.

Taking to Instagram to mark the singer’s 73rd birthday, the former Miss World posted a touching tribute to her beloved dad.

Alongside a series of snaps, Rosanna wrote: “Happy birthday Dad – AKA Bambam!”

Rosanna explained: “Sophia couldn’t pronounce grandpa so she started calling him Bambam and it’s kinda stuck now.”

“Not to be confused with Bamm-Bamm Rubble from The Flintstones.”

“Thanks for being you @cdebinsta. Looking forward to celebrating later,” she added.

The Lady In Red singer turned 73 today.

The legendary hitmaker is grandfather to Rosanna’s three children – Sophia, Hugo and Oscar – who she shares with her husband Wes Quirke.

Sophia was born via surrogate in November 2019, one year before the couple welcomed “miracle twins” Oscar and Hugo in 2020.

Rosanna fell pregnant with twins during the first coronavirus lockdown, after suffering 15 miscarriages.

The 37-year-old has since written a book about her incredible journey to motherhood, which was released last week.
