Rosanna Davison has revealed she hopes to bring her newborn daughter Sophia home to Ireland “over the weekend.”

The former Miss World welcomed her first child two weeks ago via gestational surrogate.

Rosanna and husband Wes Quirke travelled to an undisclosed country for the arrival of their bundle of joy.

Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old said she hopes to get her daughter back to Dublin so she can meet her family and prepare for Christmas.

“Two weeks old today..,” she wrote, sharing a photograph of herself holding her little girl.

“Time flies when you’re in a baby bubble & totally lose track of the days!”

“Hoping to get Sophia home over the weekend so she can meet the rest of her family & get ready for her first Christmas.”

She also offered further insight into her role as a new mother sharing a photo of newborn Sophia lying on her front, while Rosanna looks on lovingly.

“Deep & meaningful chats during tummy time,” she wrote, sharing a photo to her story of Sophia’s face covered with a love heart.

The model previously revealed she won’t share photographs of her daughter’s face just yet, saying: “We’ve decided to keep her little face off the internet for now as we fought hard for this beautiful baba for almost 4 years & feel extra protective over her.”
