Rosanna Davison has recalled the incredible moment she told her family members she was pregnant with twins – after years of fertility struggles.
The former Miss World is expecting identical twin boys with her husband Wes Quirke, and is due to give birth this month.
The model mum announced her pregnancy back in July, almost eight months after she welcomed her first child, a daughter named Sophia, via gestational surrogate last year.
Rosanna and Wes decided to go down the surrogacy route, after the model suffered 14 miscarriages over the course of a few years.
Speaking to the Irish Sun this week, Rosanna recalled breaking the news to her brothers Hubie and Michael Davison.
She said: “One of my favourite parts of my pregnancy was telling my brothers at the 12-week mark that we were not only expanding our family, but that I was the one pregnant — and that it’s identical twin boys.”
“The shock on their faces was priceless! They’re very excited to become uncles again and we really hope that they’ll make it home from London at some stage in the near future to meet their new nephews.”
