Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll’s honeymoon destination REVEALED

Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll jetted off to private Caribbean island for their honeymoon, it has been revealed.

The Irish golfer finally married his American partner at Ashford Castle last Saturday, in a lavish ceremony that was attended by plenty of well-known faces.

Now that the couple are husband and wife, they’ve reportedly jetted off to the luxurious Canouan Island in St Vincent and the Grenadines, which is part-owned by billionaire Celtic Football Club owner Dermot Desmond, who was at Rory’s nuptials over the weekend.

The €100 million resort is located near Barbados, and is home to the Pink Sands Club – which holds 24 suites, two penthouses and 20 villas.

Priced at an astonishing €13,000 per night, the lavish resort also has a golf course, spa and four restaurants based on the island’s private Godahl Beach.

Dermot Desmond, who is one of Ireland’s richest men, also co-owns the famed Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados with JP McManus and John Magnier.

Rory and Erica are also rumoured to spend some time at the five-star Sandy Lane resort on their no expense-spared honeymoon, before making a stop at the Turks and Caicos coral island chain.
