Ronan Keating wants to move back to Ireland to be closer to kids

Ronan Keating has revealed he wants to move back to Dublin – so he can be near his three children.

The Boyzone star is based between the UK and Australia because of work commitments in both countries.

However, the 37-year-old is now excited about being able to spend four months solidly with girlfriend Storm Uechtritz while in West End musical once.

“We’re excited because we’re going to have a normal life. We can go to the gym. We can cook in our kitchen,” he said.

“Plus we’ll be close to the kids. Ultimately we want to be in Dublin near them. We’ll get there.”

And Ronan revealed they are so busy – that sometimes they only catch-up on long-haul planes from Australia to London.

“We’re so busy in our day-to-day it’s a really nice way to spend time together uninterrupted. We snuggle up, watch a movie and have a chat,” he told Hello.

Meanwhile, Ronan insisted he didn’t try and steal Louis Walsh’s role on the X Factor as had been claimed.

“I didn’t try to steal his role. I’d love to do the show in the UK and, yes, it would mean I’m closer to the kids. But I love the Australian show too,” he said.

“This year J Lo will be a special guest plus I have an incredible guest judge joining me in New York. He’s No.1 around the world. That’s all I can say.”
