Robbie Brady’s fiancée Kerrie Harris has revealed the sweet details of their engagement.
The pair were thrown into the limelight after the footballer was hailed a hero for scoring a winning goal in the 85th minute of Ireland’s match against Italy in the Euros this year.
Now, the pair, who have daughter Halle together, are finally engaged as of last month – and Kerrie has revealed EXACTLY how Robbie popped the question.
“I guess I knew one day I would marry Robbie but when or how he would pop the question, I’d no idea. I certainly wasn’t expecting it on the 30th October,” Kerrie wrote on her blog, TwoDoList.ie.

“Myself and Halle took a flight to Manchester from Dublin where we were due to meet Robbie.. the three of us where heading to a friend of ours little girls christening and 1st birthday party! Not long after arriving in Manchester, Robbie popped the question with Halle by his side.
“I was so happy I could have burst and the ring took my breath away! We celebrated that night with dinner and drinks with a few pals and Halle of course! Right now, we are both feeling super giddy and excited for the future and I am enjoying planning our engagement party where we look forward to celebrating some more!
“Today marks two weeks since I became a fiancée, a bride to be, the future Mrs Brady. It’s taken until now for it to really hit me and let it settle in.

“People have asked if it’s made me feel different? Apart from the obvious feeling of being on cloud nine, when you commit to being with someone forever, it can only but add strength to your relationship and I think that’s what I’m feeling!
“The rush of excitement and love from our family and friends has been so lovely and at times overwhelming. When we arrived into Dublin last week and back to our family home, my family were gathered in secret in our kitchen there to congratulate the three of us.
“The kitchen had been kitted out with banners and balloons, champagne , cake and flowers. We then went for a lovely family breakfast where the staff treated us to a champagne breakfast, they even had the kiddies covered with a little glass of bubbly elderflower in a mini champagne glass!” she added.
