Red Rock actors are paid significantly less than their rival soap stars over in Fair City.
According to the Herald, stars of Red Rock are paid about €344 per day – whereas Fair City actors take in €459 for a day’s work, 25 percent more than their rivals in TV3.
Fair City star’s daily rate was revealed earlier this year, thanks to the Freedom of Information Act.
The rivalry between the two shows has been evident since the TV3 crime drama first aired in January 2015.

The show’s salaries have been revealed as Red Rock gears up to launch on BBC One next Monday, and also prepares to launch in the US as it was picked up by Amazon.
Red Rock producers refused to comment on the cast’s pay, according to the Herald.
However, an industry source stated that the Red Rock cast and crew work harder to produce a high quality show without the “luxury” of state funds and ad revenue.
