Musicians and well-known Irish personalities enjoyed the exclusive launch of the new 3Plus Lounge at the 3Arena.
The event celebrated the extension of Three’s 10-year sponsorship of Ireland’s leading entertainment venue. The new VIP Lounge marks the first step toward evolving the 3Arena into Ireland’s first smart venue.
It was unveiled on the night via a unique live ‘connected’ music experience with leading Irish bands All Tvvins and Le Boom.
This special ‘connected’ music moment was hosted by Irish TV presenters Bláthnaid Treacy and Stephen Byrne, as performances for each band were streamed from the 3Arena to a 3Plus pop-up lounge located on South William Street, as well as 3Stores in Galway and Limerick.
Revellers spotted on the night enjoying the gigs and posing for the ultimate social media snap at the all-new Three selfie-installation included TV presenter, Darren Kennedy; model, Jo Archbold; TV3 presenter, Cassie Stokes; musician, RóisÃn O and radio presenters Jonathan McCrea, Jess Kelly and Peter Collins.
The new deal will see Three invest €55 million in the sponsorship and activation over the next 10 years.
Primary sponsor of the venue since 2014, Three will continue to have exclusive naming rights, as well as leveraging money-can’t-buy benefits exclusively for its customers, such as presale tickets for every show and exclusive in-venue experiences.
Three also plan to roll out a number of digital innovations, evolving the 3Arena into Ireland first smart-entertainment venue.
Performances, food and drink were enjoyed as the attendees danced the night away.
