PICS: Dáithi Ó Sé introduces this year’s Rose of Tralee finalists

The festival kicks off this weekend

Dáithi Ó Sé has introduced all 32 hopeful Roses for the first time, ahead of this year’s Rose of Tralee television show.

This is Dáithí’s tenth year presenting the show, and before the Rose of Tralee festival kicks off this weekend – Dáithi and the 32 Roses posed for photos at Castletown House in Celbridge.

The festivities in Tralee will begin on Friday, but the live television selection won’t air until Monday, August 26, and Tuesday, August 27.

Interviews with the 32 Roses will be broadcast live from the festival dome in Tralee, Co.Kerry at 8pm on Monday and Tuesday on RTÉ One, with a break for the Nine O’Clock News.

The Rose of Tralee will be available to watch for free, live and on-demand by audiences in Ireland and around the world on RTÉ Player (desktop, iOS and android apps) and RTÉ Player International.

The 32 Roses who make it to the TV broadcast will represent centres in Ireland, Britain, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, mainland Europe and the Middle East.

This year’s Rose of Tralee will be crowned on Tuesday night (Aug 27), and James Patrice will also be there to get all the behind the scenes goss on RTÉ One’s social media.
