With storm warnings all over the country, most people stayed tucked up in bed last night.

But there was no stopping Irish celebrities – who turned out for the official opening night of The Walworth Farce.

For the first time Brendan Gleeson and his sons Brian and Domhnall come perform together in the entertaining comedy written by Enda Walsh.

Already this week the Gleeson family had Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul pay them a visit, and last night the famous trio were watched by a host of celebs.

TV host Lorraine Keane attended the VIP night. Wrapped up in a warm coat the former Xpose presenter posed at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre before heading inside with her husband Peter Devlin.

Amy Huberman also braved the wind and rain as she headed to the official opening night.

The mum-of-two enjoyed a night out after speaking earlier at the Irish Film Board 2015 launch, where she told Goss.ie about her new movie.

Amy, 35, donned a dark leopard print coat, paired with a black scarf and black swede knee-high boots.

Love/Hate star Laurence Kinlan also attended the opening night with his wife Charlene.

The actor famous for playing Elmo in the RTE drama, headed along to the glitzy opening and Tweeted his excitement about the play.

“The best thing I’ve ever seen. Go see Walwart Farce at the @olympiatheatre Focking Amazing!!!,” he wrote.
