Some of the biggest stars from HBO’s Game of Thrones have been spotted on a night out in Belfast, as they take a break from filming the show’s final season.

Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow, Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) and the show’s creators D. B. Weiss and David Benioff were snapped enjoying a few pints of Guinness in Kelly’s Cellars in Belfast last weekend.

Taking to Twitter, Kelly’s Cellars posted a photo of the stars alongside the caption, “As you may have noticed, Winter Is Coming. Or Coming Back. Or whatever.

“But whatever it is, it was a pleasure to welcome some of the cast of Game of Thrones yesterday evening. Because that’s what they do. They drink. And they know things.”

Although fans were delighted to see the cast relaxing in their local pub, the photo caused quite a stir on social media – as people questioned whether the pub posting the photo was an invasion of their privacy.

However, Kelly’s Cellars responded by saying, “We respect all our esteemed guests, and fully appreciate that they came to relax after a lot of hard work. They deserved the privacy to do so. So the photo was not posted until after they had left, to let them enjoy themselves without being inundated with adoring fans.

“Don’t get us wrong, we like basking in reflected glory as much as the next pub, as would you, we’re sure, but it is our policy to let our celebrity guests relax in peace. So when you see such pictures again, remember, they are memories, not current events.”

Game of Thrones’ eighth and final season is set to air in 2019.
