We weren’t expecting to be drying our eyes during the Late Late Toy Show, but this moment changed everything.
RTE had confirmed during the week, that children affected by homelessness would be on the show, but nobody expected the broadcaster to do this.
Ryan Tubridy had a young girl called Mia on the show, who explained she lives with her cousin and brother, aunt and her grand parents, because her mum couldn’t afford a home.
Ryan then surprised her with a free trip to Legoland, thanks to Aer Lingus.
Take a look:

Viewers all around the country took to Twitter to share their emotions, after the sweet moment.
I wasn’t expecting to be shedding a tear watching the #LatelateToyShow but she’s such a beautiful child and no child deserves to be homeless.

Props to Ryan for highlighting the housing crisis instead of sweeping it under the carpet! It’s real and it’s happening #LateLateToyShow
