Patrick Dempsey has revealed the one downside of his trip to Ireland this summer.

After Ellen asked, “What was Ireland like? I’ve never been, I’m dying to go,” Patrick replied, “Oh, I fell in love with the place.”

The 55-year-old explained: “I was everywhere, any chance I got. I ended up staying in the north of Ireland, which was fascinating, I learned a lot up there.”

“And then I was in nature, so it was the Spring of the year, and you have all the lambs, cows, and the calves and everything.”

“It’s everything you would imagine it to be. The people are great.”

However, Patrick admitted there was a downside to his time in Ireland, as there was a lot of restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“The only problem was you just had this barrier because everyone had their masks on,” he said.

“So you couldn’t go to the pubs, you couldn’t go to the restaurants, everything was locked down. So I didn’t get a chance to see that.”

“But great hiking, great culture, really fun. Rainy, miserable weather, and then it gets hot. It gets in the 80s and people meltdown completely they can’t handle it. But I loved it.”
