Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams to finish filming Disenchanted in Wicklow today

Today is the last day Disenchanted will be filmed in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow.

The highly anticipated sequel to the 2007 Disney flick Enchanted, starring Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams, is coming to Disney+ next year.

The Hollywood actors relocated to Ireland earlier this summer to shoot the movie, with the village of Enniskerry being transformed into a magical fairytale kingdom.

Maya Rudolph, Idina Menzel and James Marsden also landed in Ireland in recent weeks for the film.

While filming will wrap up in Wicklow today, the star-studded cast will be in Ireland for a little while longer.

Production will move to a second location in the RDS in Dublin, where greenscreen work will be carried out.

The original film Enchanted starred Amy Adams as Giselle, who is banished from the animated land of Andalasia to the live-action world of New York.

While trying to find her way back home, the princess falls in love with a cynical lawyer – played by Patrick Dempsey.

Patrick, best known for his role as Derek ‘McDreamy’ Shephard in Grey’s Anatomy, has been sharing many photos from his temporary home in Ireland to Instagram in recent weeks – including a photo on the top of the Sugarloaf Mountain, at Powerscourt Hotel and at Bray Head Cross.
