Norah Casey has revealed she will be acting like a single lady for Valentine’s Day this weekend.
The RTE star is set to spend the romantic holiday solo – after splitting from fireman Peter Allen. The pair started dating in December 2013 but have now called it quits.
“I’ll be doing some determinedly single activity,” Norah told Goss.ie. “And anything that involves my 16-year-old actually so it might be bowling.”
“It’s nice as a spectator but I think Dublin restaurants are to be avoided on Valentine’s night,” she added.

Speaking at the Irish premiere of Fifty Shades of Grey, Norah admitted she never read the raunchy novels.
“I’ve never read the book, that’s the big admission, but I think I dodged a bullet there as my mother read it and most of my friends did and they said it was a bit boring on occasions, thought it was a little overwritten”
“But Jamie Dornan is very easy on the eye, Anastasia is less submissive and he’s not a shy guy with spanking but he is rich so somehow gets away with it, but lots of heartache and handcuffs.
“Not so much a game changer as I think a gamer raiser for all the men of Ireland,” she said.
