‘No means no’ Piers Morgan brands Love Island’s Maura a ‘predator’

Piers Morgan has used his platform as a presenter on Good Morning Britain to discuss Maura’s actions on this week’s dose of Love Island.

The Irish model took a shine to pro boxer Tommy Fury, and vehemently pursued him despite his resistance.

Her behaviour peaked when she lay on top of the fellow contestant and asked for a kiss, planting one on his cheek when he turned his face away from her advance.

This morning, Piers said: “What part of ‘no’ means no? What part did he not communicate there, it’s clear premeditated assault, she needs to be dragged out of there and arrested.”

“That’s the new rule isn’t it?”

“Poor Tommy, he looks utterly traumatised.”

However, the presenter later backtracked, saying:

“It was actually a bit of harmless flirtation. Obviously nobody in there is a victim, so all these people harping on about nothing.”
