Nicky Byrne has taken to social media to share his thanks to fans.
The singer bid farewell to The Twenty Tour, after embarking on a global journey to share Westlife’s songs with the world to mark 20 years of the band.
“And just like that The Twenty Tour has come to an end.
To stay we have enjoyed ourselves would be an understatement. The fans have been simply unbelievable,” he wrote.
“This Reunion has been an incredible experience for myself and my family Georgina, Rocco, Jay and Gia.”
“Giving up my Radio Show in Ireland after five years on air to embark on this adventure was always going to be bittersweet, but celebrating 20 years of Westlife really was something quite remarkable.”
“Nothing can ever surpass seeing the joy on my kids faces looking up at their Dad on stage doing my thing, that memory will be forever etched in my heart.”
“I will take away truckloads of memories from this tour, most notably seeing all of you having the times of your lives, dancing and singing all the songs once again, reliving our youth all over again,” he expressed.
He left his final thank you to his bandmates, saying: “It’s been everything we’d hoped it would be and way more.”
Westlife completed over 50 shows across the globe, performing to over 600,000 people.
