Niall Horan left ‘shaken’ after intruder was caught wandering through his home

Niall Horan was reportedly left “shaken” after an intruder was caught wandering through his home in London.

According to MailOnline, a man was confronted by the singer’s personal assistant last July, after he was caught in the foyer outside Niall’s penthouse apartment.

A source said: “The intruder is believed to have tailgated another resident – following them into the building – and then entered the apartment next door to Niall’s.”

“He came out onto that property’s balcony, jumped over the wall onto Niall’s balcony and then entered into his apartment through the French doors.”

“Niall wasn’t at home at the time but one of his assistants was and saw the man walk through the apartment to the foyer outside.”

“She managed to keep the intruder talking until security were called. The police arrived soon afterwards but the man was not arrested and was released,” the insider continued.

“He returned to the apartment building the following day but he’d been caught on CCTV and his picture had been circulated around staff working in the apartment building.”

“The security noticed him on the cameras and picked him up pretty promptly and he was arrested this time.”

In December, the man pleaded not guilty to two charges of burglary with intent at Kingston Crown Court, and is set to stand trial on July 5.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘The suspect was charged by postal requisition on 7 August, 2020 for burglary with intent to steal. He will appear at Kingston Crown Court on Monday, 5 July.”

The news comes after Niall’s former bandmate Harry Styles sought a restraining order against a homeless man who stalked him for months.

In October 2019, the singer was forced to appear in court to give evidence against 26-year-old Pablo Tarazaga-Orero.

Speaking from behind a screen in court, Harry said he offered to buy Pablo food or a hotel room back in March – after he saw him sleeping rough at a bus stop near his home in London.

Two months later, Harry was forced to report the Spanish national to the police, after his behaviour left him feeling unsafe at his own home.

Harry claimed he saw Pablo at the bus stop 50 yards from his home “at least five days a week”.

He also allegedly posted notes and money through his letterbox, and followed him to his local pub on several occasions.

The former One Direction star’s legal team argued that Pablo’s stalking had a “significant effect” on his life.

Speaking in court, Harry said: “I never really encountered this kind of behaviour before. I’ve employed a night guard. I continue to lock my bedroom door at night.”

Pablo denied one count of stalking between April and June this year, but was found guilty as District Judge Nigel Deane described Harry as a “reliable and credible witness.”
