Laura Whitmore and Simon Delaney have both admitted hosting last year’s IFTAs was incredibly difficult – but Amanda Byram is ready for the challenge.
The Dublin presenter, who previously hosted Total Wipeout, said she would happily take on the gig.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, Amanda said she would say yes if she was approached.
“I heard they may not be having the ceremony this year which IÂ was gutted about,” she said.

“I love the IFTAS. I would host them in a heartbeat if they wanted me to.”

“It’s all about flying the flag,” she added.
Meanwhile Amanda revealed she would love to return to Ireland to work for RTE or TV3, she’s just looking for the perfect format.

Asked if she would move home to work on Irish TV, Amanda told Goss.ie:
“Yes absolutely. Over the years I have taken loads of meetings with RTE and TV3 and have been offered gigs, but the timing was always wrong.
“If the show was right, I would love to come back and host a show back home,” she added.
